Holiyay Travel Dooel as controller of your personal data, respects your privacy and is committed to complying with this Policy, which describes how we, as a travel agency, collect and use the personal data that you provide to us, and what choices you have regarding our use of your personal data. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of your personal data and how to contact us.

Holiyay Travel Dooel is a travel agency whose registered head office is at Bul. Avnoj br. 16-1/19, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia. The contact email address is info@holiyaytravel.com. 

In this Privacy Policy, references to “we”, “us” or “our” means Holiyay Travel. References to “you” and “your” are to users of our Website. “Personal Data” is information relating to you, which can be used to personally identify you (either directly or indirectly).

Application of the Privacy policy

The Privacy Policy is implemented on 01.10.2020 and covers:            

You, as traveler or user of our Services, may be asked to provide certain personal data when you use our Services, such as:

  • Name and contact information (your name, work and home/mobile phone, fax, email, address);
  • Travel documentation (e.g. passport/visa/personal id/driver’s license number, citizenship, date of birth, gender);
  • Payment data (corporate/personal credit cards) and bank information;
  • Traveler preferences and trip/meeting details (e.g. routings, seat preferences, frequent flyer data, meal preferences, hotel/rail/car and other ground transportation membership data and preferences, special accommodation requests, other personal data voluntarily supplied by you via your profiles, surveys, or other requests);
  • your opinions, when you choose to complete one of our surveys;
  • your geographic location (country/territory where you are living and/or working);
  • your job title, role and the name of your employer;
  • the content of your C.V. and covering letter (where you apply for a vacancy with us on our Website).

Holiyay Travel collects and uses your personal data for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes as described in this Policy and does not process your personal data further in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.

Holiyay Travel uses personal data to:

  • Provide its Services and fulfill its obligations to travelers (e.g. complete and administer travel reservations, assist in managing the travel, inform you of updates to our website and applications and other changes to our products or Services)
  • Communicate with you via various multi-media channels (for instance, by email, post, phone, or Holiyay Travel’s websites or applications) and to provide you with customer service
  • Send you newsletters, marketing emails, and other information or materials that may interest you or showing personalized advertisements
  • Conduct surveys (e.g. traveler, client satisfaction) and review the quality and performance of our services for customer satisfaction purposes
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce your, our, or other’s rights as we believe reasonably necessary (e.g. billing and collection, fraud prevention, comply with legal obligations, and respond to legal proceedings or requests from legal authorities and law enforcement or other third parties).

To make a payment via credit card you can use the secure online booking engine or call your booking agent. Your payment card details are not recorded, stored or retained by Holiyay Travel in any way and therefore we ask that you do not email your payment card details. We use an electronic bank payment system 3D Secure developed by Vida International and MasterCard Worldwide to process these payments on our behalf. If Holiyay Travel needs to provide you with a refund, your bank details may be collected, which are recorded and stored.

Holiyay Travel is dedicated to keeping your personal information secure. We have implemented various physical, electronic and managerial security procedures in order to protect your information from loss and misuse, and from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure and interference.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal information breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We may also retain aggregate information beyond this time for research purposes and to help improve our services.  When retention of the personal data is no longer necessary, the data will be deleted or aggregated for analytic purposes.
